Showoff Ulu Yam

showcase of Ulu Yam
Most recent public holidays meaning for family gathering or even take a hike back to hometown but since mine is here right smack in KL so I took the opportunity to visit Ulu Yam waterfalls. Yup, its waterfalls alright 'cause along the stretch there were several spots where you can enjoy pristine clear water apart from 'homo's who doesn't know what trash means.
Here I would like to showcase some series I took with a 8 fps (frame per second) camera and proudly say that its the fastest in the world right now. Set it at dynamic focus and overcast setting. ISO 200 with 1 stop push to highlight the shadows.
The lad was a handful as he jumped into the water ravine probably about 12m high and down the gallow he went with full force. Lotsa guts that I can tell you.
Have a good one!

Happy Birthday Nique!
Last weekend couple of friends and I were treated to a grandeur short trip weekend getaway with a lil' agenda in mind .. to celebrate our dear Nique's birthday and farewell party. Booked ourselves to a lush three bedroom suite and all the rations (mostly Maggie's and junks) to stuff ourselves throughout the period.
Hop into a grueling cable ride (for yours truly) up to the top with the only pod that had mp3 player installed Then scowering the gaming section for some ol' school Daytona machines only to found out that only one worked with the screen up side down. Next to the outdoor park and they had some scary (yet again for oneself) Tower Jet experience with 'em showing little self respect none when were even traumatized after being on it After lotsa rides including the journey into the Omes'd lair we called it a day and jet down to our suite. Stayed up till late then next morning on our breakfast buffet table we agreed upon only Malaysian's will be so kiasu to have so many foods and eaten 1/4 of it. What a p**ck
Last we would like to thank Nique for such a wonderful weekend and we'll be there when Plymouth comes calling.
Happy Birthday girl!

Fasya's Engagement
On the 20th May 2006, clad in off white and bluish decor, Fasya was engaged to Syaiful in such an eventful morning. Relatives and friends been flocking the house in section 4 Shah Alam from early morning till mid noon. Foods and beverages were delightful. Simple yet meaningful (yet extravagant to me).
Congratulations Fasya!

Dear Amiza & Harris Wedding at Titiwangsa
April 30th 2006 meant a lot to Amiza and Harris as their first step to journ into a long and hopeful wedded endeavour. Harris' grin could be seen miles away as he step onto the corridor leading towards the hall. In his off white traditional dress he looked calm and Amiza was waiting anxiously by the side as the protocol adjourned. As the ceremony ended most of the guest were salivating on the lunch menu and get on their ways.
The next day, as guests flocking in and out, govern by customarily yellow and gold theme they greeted relatives and friends to their wedding ceremony. Grandeur to the last and peaceful to the end.
We were just happy to be part of it.
May Allah bless your journey on forth. Amin!

Bird Park Memoirs
The last time I was here it was on a drizzling day back in 1994. God nothing have changed apart from some new displacements enclosure. Most tenants looked lively and some needed some tender care especially the peacocks. I grab the chance to be here on a Sunday morning and live with the mid tone of sunshine to be able to see "wildlife" in our own backyard.
What sparked me the most was how well sivics are instilled in us Malaysians at our own ground. You can still see rubbish or cans or food leftovers been threwn everywhere and the sad part was seeing some of the exotic birds actually chew on 'em. I'm still ashamed of what we're trying to achieve with our 3rd country mindness.
Think before you dump!

Little Excursion to Kemaman
I will never see East Coast the way I perceived earlier again. This is the place where you can find serenity & great folks. Life is so mundane here that nothing could possibly be hectic rather than dazing around the beaches and scowering for great food. I would just blaze everytime I could get some time off and go running in the morning or driving as I might say to the nearest satar stall early morning for breakfast. Then head up nowhere to Teluk Kalung beach to fish or just daydreaming. Next, have tea at Hai Peng (some say its better than Starbucks) then again having bbq by the beach for dinner.
Aint life beautiful in Kemaman!

Starbucks Charity Coloring Contest
Last fortnight Starbucks seksyen 9 Shah Alam have done a such a wonderful gift to the community by organizing a coloring contest for our young future leaders from Rumah Amal seksyen 3. I for once a caffeine addict got the opportunity by volunteering my sappy talent to them as a gesture.
Thank you Aziela for inviting me and to the young guns I know you enjoyed every bit of the day! I wish and hopeful that God will provide for them and cherish.
Bless 'em!

Koi farm in Sentul
Last weekend I was visiting the KL bird park and then after faltering at a friend's desperation call to the koi farm, I succumbed and to my amazement the farm is quite huge and serene. Those kois were almost as big as a pup.
Let me get the pics from the bird park up and running next. Just can't wait to share this pic with you guys.
Have a good one!
