Next came Nusa Dua. Located southeast of the island and mainly catered for the high end hotels where you can find such Hilton, Renaissance, etc. It was rather quite and strictly guarded as tourists kept flocking in and out as we entered through the main gate. As peaceful as it seemed, locals here were always at bay if any business opportunies were to be presented in front of 'em. Beautiful beaches and so tranquil.
After filling up about half of gig of my CF card we scootered ourselves to the southwestern part of the island, Uluwatu. Outrageusly beautiful! One should not missed their chances if were to be given one. Guarded by the temple's guard they would summoned you to wear sort of scarfs around yourself if found to not covering yourself up. Kinda a holy place. And they would ask you if you'd like a guide to be with you along the way .. we asked .. for what? "from the monkeys!" Well I said I think we could fend ourselves. Not! My Oakley were grabbed right from my holding as I approached Mr. Pringles (nicknamed this obese one after spotted him with Pringles in hand) and he ran away before a tourist guard offered him some fruits for exchange. He succumbed but not after he bit off all the rubber from it. Darn it! Nonetheless the whole ravine were gorgeous indeed. Not to miss these peeps!
Next back headed to Kuta and got lost along the way not until we ushered oursleves to pay some locals for directions.
